Year 11 geographers trip
Our Year 11 geographers recently took their learning beyond the classroom with a full day of essential fieldwork, contributing directly to their final exams.
At Southsea Beach, students collected data and made detailed observations to investigate how effective the new coastal defences are at reducing erosion and flood risk.
Over at Gunwharf Quays, they conducted surveys to explore how the development has impacted the lives of people living in Portsmouth.
A fantastic opportunity to apply their knowledge, build key skills, and see geography come alive in the real world!
