Transition Day

Tuesday 4th July 2023

We are delighted to be able to welcome you into Six Villages on Wednesday 3rd July 2024 for our universal Transition day.

Please arrive from 8am, ready for the day to start at 8.17am.

Please come in your primary school uniform and bring a bag with your pencil case in, your packed lunch and a drink of water.

When you arrive, you will see tables at the front of the academy.  This is where you will register.  The staff that will welcome you will also tell you which tutor group you are in.

Once you have signed in you will come into the Gate Theatre.  You will meet your tutor and other students in your tutor group.

You will then be welcomed by Mr Slaughter and Ms Barber in your first assembly at Six Villages.

Then, you get to spend some time with your tutor group before having different lessons. Usually you would have an English, Maths and Science lesson along with one or two other subjects during the day. This allows you to meet some of your teachers and experience some of our wonderful lessons.

Don’t worry about finding your way around the school as you will have a Learning Support Assistant that will spend the day with your tutor group.

Break time is at 10.50 – 11.10am and you can have a snack then. Lunch time is at 1.10pm – 1.50pm.

At 2.50pm you will be taken back to the Gate Theatre where you will be collected by your parent/carer or older sibling.

We cannot wait to meet you all and know that you will have a great day.
