Pupils in Y7 were treated to an open air theatre.

The pupils all gathered on the field to watch a version of A Midsummer’s Night Dream which they had previously studied.

Luckily, the weather prevailed and it was the perfect balance of warm with cloud cover, so the students were able to relax on blankets and enjoy the show performed by Quantum Theatre.

Featuring, Titania the queen of the fairies, puck the mischievous sprite and bottom the donkey, the year 7 cohort enjoyed plenty of laughs throughout the performance. 

One student commented: “It was really funny, and I really enjoyed being outside for it”. Another said: “The play was really good. I loved Bottom the donkey and the music!”
