'Space 180°' Community Day
Saturday 26 June, 9am-3pm
The following works, which have been heavily disrupted since the pandemic began, now need to be
undertaken and we will be holding a community day on Saturday 26 June. On this day we need all hands on deck to help with the following:
- clear the inside of the tunnel and weed
- re-lay the weed suppressant membrane on the right hand side of the area
- put down more wood chip on the left hand side of the area
- move the tyres into position and fill with soil (kindly donated by the Woodhorn Group)
- position raised beds and fill
- erect green wall frames (to be constructed from timber and chicken wire), between two trees
- start digging pond
Are you willing to help with any of the above tasks on 26th June? If so, please sign up here. A maximum of 30 people can attend to ensure we adhere to government guidelines, so we respectfully ask only people who can ‘get stuck in’ to sign up.
The day is divided into two sessions; willing helpers are invited to sign up for one or both.
