GCSE Presentation Evening
GCSE presentation evening Thursday 2nd December.
In light of the pandemic and current variant Omicron, and to ensure that everyone can have an enjoyable worry-free evening, we require everyone attending to test in advance through a Lateral Flow Test. This information is to set out the process for all attendees:
- All students and guests will enter site via the usual green pedestrian gate. Gate will open at 6.30pm.
- Each family will register and each show proof of a negative lateral flow test. You will then be signed in and invited to proceed to the gate theatre.
- Please do not come to the event if you have symptoms of Covid-19, are required to self-isolate or receive a positive lateral flow result.
- We ask that the lateral flow test is taken within 24 hours prior to attending the event.
- We require any person secondary school age and older to test. Children under this age do not need to show proof of a test.
- Please report the test in the usual way https://www.gov.uk/rreport-covid19-result and bring evidence of this email/text to the academy on the evening. You will be asked to show the text/email to the registration desk.
- For those people unable to take a test in advance or unable to record the results electronically via the above link, we will have home tests available and you will be given instructions on where to take the test and await results (the home kits we currently have left require 30 minutes to process).
