Y11 Prom, 7 July 2017

Our Y11 students celebrated their prom in style at Fontwell Park Racecourse on Friday 7 July.

The prom committee, headed up by Mrs Parry and Mrs Skinner along with help from Mrs Pauline Kerrigan helped create a midsummer night theme in Fontwell Park's Premier Lounge.

Before students took to the dance floor, various awards were given out - Ryan Harvey and Natalie Talman were crowned as Prom King and Queen whilst the Best Dressed awards went to Lauren Merrett and Bradley Higgins-Pearce. The Best Arrival award went to Finlay Champion and Jack Hamblin who made a creative and entertaining entrance in green wheelie bins! Finally Jack Saunders walked away with the Comedian of the Year award.

There were plenty of photo opportunities for the students: posing for fun and informal pictures in the photo booth as well as having stunning images taken by photographer Darren Cool throughout the evening.

The staff at Fontwell said our students were exemplary and seemed to thoroughly enjoy the evening.

Mrs Parry said:

“It was so lovely to see the students dressed up and looking so stunning. The evening was a really special way to celebrate the end of their time at Six Villages and we wish them every success for the future.”

Our Communities

On entering the Academy, students become a member of one of three Communities. Belonging to a Community creates a cohesive and friendly environment that helps students feel a sense of belonging
