Six Villages Equality campaign - poster competition

"Have you ever experienced being treated differently to others (in a good or bad way)?"

This is the question Six Villages students have been pondering this week, with presentations and discussions in assembly and in lessons about the way in which it is acceptable to treat others and be treated.

Competition time!

The students have been tasked with creating an A4 poster promoting equality. It can be related to any theme that they feel is important - anti-racism, anti-sexism, anti-bullying etc - and entries should be handed into reception by 12.00 noon on Friday 20 January. There is a prize of Amazon vouchers for the winning entry - good luck!

Finally students were reminded how they can get help on issues concerning them:

1. Speak to a responsible adult (this could be a parent, tutor, Director of Learning, or any member of staff you trust)

2. Email - especially if they feel more comfortable with not speaking to someone face-to-face

3. Write your concern down and use the student post box in East block corridor
